We’ve all heard of and are now using Spotify. Not being people who like being complacent in life we decided to try and put a face to the voice that is Roberta. The sexy voiced lady who drifts into your aural pleasure with the sprightly words “Hi, I’m Roberta from Spotify” to tell you more about the wonderful paid features in Spotify.
So without further ado, this is the face behind the voice…

@sparcd has pointed out a very addictive but interesting little Flash app. You can find it here http://bit.ly/NaikH.
It’s addictive so be prepared to end up in a state of trance while drawing pretty patterns.
Good things come in small packages, and our latest web venture is no exception. Friend & Co is possibly the smallest gallery in the world featuring some of the biggest names in urban art.
The gallery is owned and run by Tom Friend and is based on the Gloucester Road in Bristol. Take a look at their online store to see some of the amazing pieces of art that they have available.

With our sister company McFaul handling the design of the new site, we’re putting all the backend loveliness into it.

Thanks to the talented and sightful eyes of @alanwardle our attention was drawn to this hilarious bit of artistic license.
Using the My Little Pony range of toys, Mari Kasurinen has transformed these garish plastic ponies into a series of iconic characters from some much loved movies (yes He-Man was a movie as well).
We like it! See the whole range here http://tinyurl.com/c6m77w

We really love innovative ideas and this really is no exception. Tugboat created this clever concept for toilets at major Ski resorts in Japan. The ingenious idea was developed to market Georgia Max Coffee.
Using a series of standard wraps the only area of branded content is the toilet roll holder which bears the web URL www.maxcoffee.jp along with the slogan “Seriously kick-ass intensely sweet for the real coffee super zinging unstoppable Max! Taste-explosion!”.
I bet sitting in these cubicals must really help scare the shit out of you.

Downhill ski jump anyone?
Apple have today announced that on March 17th a special media event will take place to offer a sneak peak at the 3.0 OS for their iPhone. The event takes place at Apple’s Town Hall building in Cupertino at 10am Pacific Time and is by invite only.
This event will allow developers to see what changes and new features have been made to the SDK. While it’s not a full realease it shouldn’t be long before it is available through iTunes.
One of the features that people are rumouring as a possibility is push notifications, along with a big sigh of desire for ‘copy & paste’ functionality.

Yep, were gonna be hitting pretty soon. While us wizards at Dropp HQ are busy whisking up a fancy new site for dropp.co.uk you’re gonna have to settle for whatever falls out of our heads for now.
Check back for updates on our very own Ross’s imminent adventures in NYC! … Don’t know if they’re ready for him yet.
