Following on from the health concious tip we have recently finished out latest Flash website for US company Lee | Stafford. We were asked to come up with a groundbreaking design concept to help them position themselves as a market leader in medical marketing and communications.

Using the Double Helix of DNA as a design element throughout the site we built an enaging interface using Flash’s new 3D funtionility. Pulling in social media content from the likes of Twitter and Flickr to create a personable experience and insight into the company.

We’ve been a little quiet on the blog front of late. That’s because we’ve been all in a state of slumber while working on our dreamy latest Flash project which has just gone live. Make a cup of tea, sit back, explore, and relax. All the beautiful illustration was done by McFaul Studio.

Apple have today announced that on March 17th a special media event will take place to offer a sneak peak at the 3.0 OS for their iPhone. The event takes place at Apple’s Town Hall building in Cupertino at 10am Pacific Time and is by invite only.

This event will allow developers to see what changes and new features have been made to the SDK. While it’s not a full realease it shouldn’t be long before it is available through iTunes.

One of the features that people are rumouring as a possibility is push notifications, along with a big sigh of desire for ‘copy & paste’ functionality.

Toni Morrison once said “A sister can be seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves – a special kind of double” and it is for that reason we decided to set up Mcfaul Studio’s new sister company, Dropp, to handle a special kind of work.

Dropp was founded to specifically handle and expand on the ever increasing digital projects that McFaul Studio has been building up over the last few years. Comprising of the dream team of James White, George Parker and our very own Ross Curzon-Butler, the formation of Dropp has been created to handle all the interactive, motion graphics and moving image work that was previously heralded under the McFaul Studio banner. Dropp is also set to handle the research and development of new technologies, providing even more scope for the sexiness of McFaul Studio to appear.

The people involved in this new venture have so far been a main part of the success on projects for Microsoft, Toshiba, Nokia, Fuse TV and Publicis Dialog, among many others. With the creative and technical excellence of these guys, fused with the gorgeous Art Direction and creativity of John McFaul, some interesting things are happening.
